January 2020 Release Notes

We are excited to reveal Uprise release notes for the month of January 2020. On top of many feature enhancements, we’ve addressed a few bugs that may have impacted your practice.  This article will be updated as new releases become available.

EHR Updates Updates

  1. Diagnosis H35.89 has been added for two findings in the physical exam: Retinal Deposits & Glaucoma.
  2. View new 2020 CPT codes in an exam, Treatment Code Mappings, and on an invoice.
  3. Historical CPT codes have been updated and inactive CPT codes have been removed.
  4. ICD-10 codes for 2020 have been added and revised as needed.
  5. If a patient is under 18, the patient's height and weight are now sent over to e-Prescribe (Newcrop) from Uprise to be in compliance with the latest prescription standard.

Practice Management Updates Updates

  1. Generating bar codes with "Fee" selected will now print the fee of the latest price set for the current user's location. If a fee is not available for that location, then it will use the fee associated with the user's organization.
  2. Voided line items on invoices will update box 29 on open claims and recreated claims with the correct payment amount.
  3. Adding a custom lens requires material details in order to add pricing. To learn more, click How to Add a Custom Lens
  4. We fixed the issue that blocked new frames from displaying in Products tab > Inventory when using the drop-downs to search.
  5. If patient demographic information is updated on the patient questionnaire, the information is transferred to the patient record as expected.
