January 2020 Release Notes
We are excited to reveal Uprise release notes for the month of January 2020. On top of many feature enhancements, we’ve addressed a few bugs that may have impacted your practice. This article will be updated as new releases become available.
- Diagnosis H35.89 has been added for two findings in the physical exam: Retinal Deposits & Glaucoma.
- View new 2020 CPT codes in an exam, Treatment Code Mappings, and on an invoice.
- Historical CPT codes have been updated and inactive CPT codes have been removed.
- ICD-10 codes for 2020 have been added and revised as needed.
- If a patient is under 18, the patient's height and weight are now sent over to e-Prescribe (Newcrop) from Uprise to be in compliance with the latest prescription standard.
- Generating bar codes with "Fee" selected will now print the fee of the latest price set for the current user's location. If a fee is not available for that location, then it will use the fee associated with the user's organization.
- Voided line items on invoices will update box 29 on open claims and recreated claims with the correct payment amount.
- Adding a custom lens requires material details in order to add pricing. To learn more, click How to Add a Custom Lens
- We fixed the issue that blocked new frames from displaying in Products tab > Inventory when using the drop-downs to search.
- If patient demographic information is updated on the patient questionnaire, the information is transferred to the patient record as expected.
