October 2022 Release Notes
We are pleased to reveal Uprise release notes for October 2022. This month, we’ve fixed bugs and improved performance across the Uprise platform, as well as added some new features.
- On 9/30, all ICD-10 codes within Uprise were updated per 2023 standards across Uprise practice management functions (including invoices and claims)
- CL power fields can now be directly edited in a contact lens order
Items releasing on 10/17/22:
- Prescription order printouts will now include Order Balance
- Throughout all Uprise practice management menus, we've improved sorting functionality by allowing users to click column headings to sort
- Invoices can now be opened directly within the Claims portlet in the Patients tab
- CCD can now be configured to automatically default into exams by using the toggle in EHR Configure > Exam Configurations > Exam Defaults
- IOP values can now be directly documented in an exam's Prelim Tests window without opening additional popups.
- Pulling forward a diagnosis from a previous visit into a current exam will now show the diagnosis beneath the physical exam category
- Users can now customize contraindications and remarks for dilations in EHR Configurations > Exam Configurations > Default Dilation
- Z01.00 "Encounter for examination of eyes and vision without abnormal findings" can now be documented in an exam with vision diagnosis for billing purposes
- The extraneous "clipboard" functionality has been removed from the EHR per popular customer feedback
Items releasing on 10/17/22:
- Rendia templates have been updated to reflect current titles, codes, and materials in Clinic Educational Material Configurations. Our video-based patient education now includes the latest content available.
- Resolved a bug affecting some customers to ensure that deleting an invoice line after voiding a payment no longer automatically generates a credit for the patient
- Messages will now load faster in the Home > Messages tab
- Resolved an issue that was preventing some practices from uploading forms to their site's Patient Portal accounts
- Resolved a bug affecting some customers that had prevented inventory count for retail items from decreasing when sold. Inventory counts will now correctly decrease by the number of items sold.
- Resolved an issue affecting some customers that caused remittances to remain in "posting" status. Such remittances will now resolve to "posted" status as normal.
- The search button in the Frame Catalogs screen now only requires a single click to operate, rather than two clicks
- Glaucoma has now been linked to the correct diagnosis in the Optic Nerve category
Items releasing on 10/7/22:
- Inactive contact lens products will no longer appear in the product dropdown list when documenting refractions in the EHR
- When printing exams, the user's view of the EHR will no longer jump back to the top of the exam menus
- Inactive or deceased patients' recall items will no longer display within the Recall list
- Resolved an issue that caused some orders to remain in "Accepted Quote" status when the Minimum Deposit feature is enabled in Uprise
- Resolved an issue that prevented some users from uploading forms to Patient Portal
- Resolved an issue that prevented IOP Target from displaying in exam printouts
