March 2020 Release Notes
We are excited to reveal Uprise release notes for the month of March 2020. On top of many feature enhancements, we’ve addressed a few bugs that may have impacted your practice. This article will be updated as new releases become available.
- We added new Telehealth CPT codes
- HCPCS code G2010 - Video or images, with interpretation and report. This is used for Remote Image/Video Evaluation.
- HCPCS code G2012 - 5-10 minutes of medical discussion. This is used for Virtual Check-In.
- We added new Telehealth Modifiers
- 95 Synchronous telemedicine service rendered via a real-time interactive audio and video telecommunication systems
- GT Via interactive audio and video telecommunication systems
- GQ Via asynchronous telecommunications systems
- G0 (zero) Telehealth services for diagnosis, evaluation, or treatment of symptoms of an acute stroke

- NEW! We fixed the issue that caused a white screen to display when attempting to view the Scheduler.
- We updated claims to ensure only one claim can be submitted electronically. When a user attempts to submit claim that was already sent, the following pop up message displays "This claim was submitted on (insert date/time), if there were any changes made since that date please submit a corrected claim".
- We resolved an issue that caused an error when sending the patient questionnaire via email through the patient profile.
- We fixed a bug that caused a 1st time log in to the Patient Portal to fail if the patient had a photo loaded in their patient profile.
- NEW! You are now able to hide Trial Contact Lens prescriptions on the optical/PM so that staff does not accidentally order a trial lens. In the Optical/Checkout tab, by default Trial Lens prescriptions are hidden. Simply click the "Include Trail Lens" checkbox. How to Display or Hide Trail CL Prescriptions in the PM
