EHR Improved Functionality and Updates

MIPS Reporting is complete!

Quality Measures and Advancing Care Information are all tracked in the background. When you're ready, you can easily calculate your score and generate a report in our new MIPS module. Other

  1. E-Prescriptions now show a separate address 1 and address 2 for suite number.
  2. Medline - Patient Education instructions are now included in the CCD.
  3. An update was made so the Fill-in Provider name appears correctly on the Cover Letter of an Exam Printout.
  4. IOP documentation is now showing up in the exam.
  5. Inactive Medications no longer show up on the printed Exam.

Patient Information Updates

NEW! Attachments can be sent from the Patient Portal

A patient can now send an attachment from the Patient Portal. Attachments cannot be larger than 25MB. In Uprise you can view the attachment and save it to the patient record. How does a Patient Send an Attachment?  How do I View/Save a Patient Attachment from the Message Center?  

Other

  1. You can now mark a Recall as "Completed" after the recall date has passed.
  2. You can now search and add additional ethnic and race details to a patient record. This update has been made as part of the certification process for Uprise to be a 2015 edition certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT).   3. As part of our software certification process new demographic options such as Sex: Unknown; Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity are now passed to the EHR.
  4. There is now a toggle to turn off patient email notification for the Intake Questionnaire prior to their appointment. How do I Turn Off the Questionnaire Email?

Other

  1. When a payment is reallocated upon saving an invoice, the reallocation transactions will display in the Ledger using the same details from the original payment (e.g. Created by and Created Date.)
  2. We fixed a bug that caused an after post discount to be counted twice on the invoice.
  3. The "Special Instructions" field on an RxOrder now saves added or removed data.
  4. We fixed a bug that continued to display "Canceled" or "Missed" appointments in the appointment list.
  5. We added warning messages to the Claim (before submission) to ensure at least one diagnosis code is added to box 21; and, any charge lines have a "Diagnosis Pointer" in box 24.
  6. Lens Add-Ons now generate the appropriate V-Code on the invoice and claim.

Other Practice Management Updates

  1. Production Report - Invoice Basis now recognizes a discount/adjustment on the posted invoice date and not the date of the discount or adjustment.
  2. A bug in the Day Sheet has been resolved to properly display a single payment for line items with two different insurances.
