We are pleased to present Uprise release notes for December 2024.

Practice Management Updates

3.1.182 - December 11, 2024 Release:

  • A new iteration of the Patient Statement Report is available to Uprise users. This report has been improved to better represent the "responsible party" for patients with linked profiles in your Uprise site. This report will now reflect whether the responsible party is a patient with their own profile or simply a contact of the listed patient.

EHR Updates

3.1.182 - December 11, 2024 Release:

  • The race and ethnicity CodeSystem version has been updated to Version 1.2
  • The Assessment section of exam templates has been updated to show all assessments listed, as opposed to the previous maximum limit of 15 assessments.
  • MIPS reporting has been improved with an individualized list of Promoting Interoperability measures and scores that can be exported as a zip file.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

3.1.182 - December 11, 2024 Release:

  • Resolved a defect that resulted in some inactivated employee profiles to receive messages from the Patient Portal.
  • Resolved a defect that prevented correct price and tax balances from displaying correctly when performing partial order returns.
  • Resolved a defect that caused a screen-loading error when using the "Cancel Order" option on an order form.
  • Resolved a defect that returned an error when adding characters or more than 10 digits to the "Invoice/Tray #" field on order forms.
  • Resolved a defect affecting some practices that prevented processing payments via credit card insurance remit on World Pay terminals.
  • Resolved a defect that prevented some users from adding new custom insurance payers to their Uprise site.
  • Resolved a defect that displayed inaccurate menus when launching the Bulk Import tool in Admin > Catalogs.
  • Resolved a defect that caused patient date of birth to display incorrectly when viewed in the Scheduler tab. Patient DOB will now display correctly.
  • Resolved a defect that caused an inaccurate date to display for files added to the Patients > Documents tab.
  • Resolved a defect that caused an incorrect prescription date to appear on RX preview and printouts.
  • Resolved a defect that returned an unexpected error message when attempting to open/edit an appointment after office hours are set to "Closed/None." Such appointments may now be opened/edited as required.
  • Resolved a defect affecting some Uprise orgs that resulted in inactivated discount codes appearing in discounts drop-down menus.
  • Resolved a defect that prevented patient's preferred recall method from being honored when recall item is generated from an exam workflow. Preferred recall method will now be honored as normal.
  • Resolved a defect that prevented edits made to a previously-finalized refraction from the EHR > Patient Summary page from displaying. Such edits made to a previously finalized refraction will now display as normal.
  • Resolved a defect that caused the Patient slide to open without displaying data when Patient Alerts are turned off.
  • Resolved a defect that prevented users from applying a patient refund if another payment had already been paid/returned on the same invoice. Additional patient refunds can now be applied on such invoices as needed.
  • A defect that resulted in an inaccurate date of service to appear when adding a second optical order to an invoice has been resolved.
