September 2020 Release Notes
We are happy to bring you these Uprise release notes for September 2020. This month, we’ve addressed a few bugs that may have impacted your practice in the EHR portion of Uprise, as well as updated ICD-10 codes per the newly-issued CDC guidelines for 2021.
The Dx Codes have been updated for the year, and the codes take effect October 1st. You can access the full list of codes that are added/removed/revised in the PDF below. We have also provided the link where Uprise got their ICD updated codes from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/icd/icd10cm.htm
Summary of changes include:
- 490 additions
- 58 deletions
- 47 revisions
We have also made multiple fixes, including:
- Improved performance and speed when saving the physical exam
- Slider bar for contact lens refractions will now jump in 1/4 diopter
- ROS Normal checkbox will now remain selected when checked and leaving or signing exam
- Communication and General sections will no longer display twice in an exam
- Device data will now import successfully without a refresh for keratometry data
- When a signature is not uploaded for a provider, the signature will remain blank as expected on the printout
- Improved performance when saving CD ratio data within an exam
- Treatment Code Mapping notes are now saving
- Linked appointment types are now highlighted when creating an exam
- Saving information in an exam will no longer refresh and jump you to the top of the exam
- Codes added in an exam will auto-link the expected ICD-10 codes and insurance
- The system will now accept uploading the following document types in the EHR: .bmp and .tif
- Assessment pointers will update to be listed alphabetically when changes assessment order
There were no major changes to Uprise Practice Management in this update.
