Version 1.2.3.1

We are excited to introduce to you Uprise Version 1.2.3.1. This release brings you feature enhancements in both the Practice Management and EHR, as well as addresses a number of bugs that may have impacted your practice.

Practice Management System Features & Enhancements

Rx Orders

Frame Only: Now you can create Rx Orders for just a frame, with no prescription or lens product required.

Rx Orders

Return/Exchange Supplier Orders: When you change an Rx Order that has been submitted, Uprise uses the Return/Exchange process to cancel and/or generate new supplier orders. This is important because sometimes, you might need to modify a frame order, but you still want to proceed with a lens order. This helps to prevent both orders being cancelled. NOTE: The newly updated status of the supplier order will show in the Products Rx Order Tracking and in the Supplier section of the Rx Order.

Reports

Reports Tab: You will be able to run and filter reports to help you manage the business aspects of your practice. Reports include: A/R Transaction Reports (Deposit Sheets, Day Sheets, Production Reports, Product Sales, and Cash Receipts), A/R Aging Reports (Patient Balances, Insurance Balances, and Combined Balances) and Patient Statements.

Admin - Product/Services Catalog

View Product Catalog: You can view products in your catalog, which includes: Spectacle Lenses, Spectacle Lens Add-Ons, and Frame products. Standard and Custom Contact Lens products, Professional Services, Other Fee, and Retail Products will be available in a future release. You can also track products by revenue stream and wholesale costs.

Adding/Editing Products: You can add, edit or inactivate the following:

  • Standard Products: Products from the Uprise Standard Set of Products (includes Frames Data)
  • Custom Products: Products that are not in the Uprise Standard Set of Products.
  • Add/ Edit Pricing of Products: You can add, edit or inactivate products (including pricing and tax). Example - Taxable & Non-Taxable Items: If you are selling prescription sunglasses and non-prescription sunglasses, you'd create one product for the prescription sunglasses (not taxable) and another one for non-prescription that is taxable.
