August 2025 Release Notes
We are pleased to present Uprise release notes for August 2025.
NOTE: It is recommended that users clear browser cache when a new version of Uprise is released
3.1.193 - August 26, 2025 Release:
- A new feature is available to practices that limit search results for Patient's Own frames on Rx orders to only those products that are currently available in the user's organization-level Uprise catalog. If enabled, this feature will also translate the product's SKU/UPC/FPC data as currently configured in the organization catalog to the Rx order's data that is submitted electronically through VisionWeb.

To enable this feature for your Uprise organization, contact our Support Team.
(If this feature is not enabled, the frame search fields will continue to display options from the VisionWeb master frame catalog)
3.1.192 - August 11, 2025 Release:
- No EHR updates at this time.
3.1.191 - August 5, 2025 Release:
- When reconciling a CCD, the patient-matching logic has been updated to include additional demographics to improve the quality of match results.
- In the Care Team module, new fields are available to record "Role" and "Caregiver Since"
- Updated Patient Demographics fields to align with regulatory compliance. New options are included to record Tribal Affiliation, as well as Sex, Sexual Orientation, and Gender Identity. When the status of a patient is "deceased", date of death information may now be recorded.
3.1.193 - August 26, 2025 Release:
- Resolved a defect that allowed for inactive products to be imported onto a new order, resulting in items that appeared on the invoice and lab order but were not shown on the order. Users will now receive a message when attempting to import any item(s) that are inactive on the selected order.
- Resolved a defect that failed to show the hyperlink to patient profile in the Uprise message center.
3.1.192 - August 11, 2025 Release:
- Resolved a defect that caused Claims Status History to list out-of-order and without timestamps. Claims Status History will now display by default based on time and date in ascending order with the earliest status listed first.
- Resolved a defect that prevented users from importing a custom insurance payer to their Uprise site.
- Resolved a defect that prevented some users from creating a Patient Portal account when ethnicity and/or race was not selected in the patient's profile Details.
- Resolved a defect that affected the creation of a secondary claim during the primary claim reconciliation process.
- The application has been improved to better accommodate an imported order containing a now-inactive insurance payer. The default selection on the order form will now be properly respected.
- Resolved a defect that caused the Provider list in a patient's profile preferred provider list to show last name first and first name last.
3.1.191 - August 5, 2025 Release:
- Resolved a defect that resulted in erroneous invoice credits when editing a Pre-Pay amount to pay less than the current invoice balance owed. Additionally some improvements have been made to safeguard credit balance totals:
- Users can no longer prioritize Invoice Credits or Pre-Payment/Unapplied options when applying payment on legacy invoices. Users must now use (IE, apply as payments or refund to a patient) all Pre-Pay balances before they are able to apply invoice credits to invoice balances
- Users can no longer adjust the Pre-Pay amount when applying as a payment. For example, if the amount to be paid is equal-to or less-than the Pre-Pay balance, the maximum available Pre-Pay amount will be applied.
- Resolved a defect that failed to accurately update balances when a transfer to or from insurance was performed.
- Resolved a defect that caused a patient balance to appear when refunding an invoice credit.
- Resolved a bug that erroneously added other extant patient medications to a new order intended for only one medication.
