March 2023 Release Notes
We are pleased to present Uprise release notes for March 2023. This month, we’re fixing bugs and improving performance across the Uprise platform, as well as adding some new features.
3.1.164.0 - March 28, 2023 Release:
- Users can now view a list of retail prices per-unit for optical products ("Retail per qty of 1") by exporting raw data from the Inventory Stock on Hand Valuation Report
3.1.163.0 - March 6, 2023 Release:
- Users can now include order supplier information such as address and phone number on order printouts by including the supplier's contact information in the Admin > Suppliers tab:
This information will then display on any printed order form for that supplier:
3.1.164.0 - March 28, 2023 Release:
- In the Patient Questionnaire, users now have the option to "Mark all answers as No."
- When documenting refractions for soft multifocal and soft multifocal toric lens products, users can now select an Add value of "Medium"
- The list of messages found in the EHR > Message Center Inbox will now display in reverse-chronological order by default, with newest messages appearing at the top of the list.
3.1.163.0 - March 6, 2023 Release:
- To improve ease of navigation when viewing patient exam histories in the EHR > Patient tab, the only exam type filters that will appear in the left-hand-side menu are those that correspond to the exam types that this patient has had at your practice.
- The Coding window for exam documentation has been enhanced to support adding/editing codes in one context. Access this menu by clicking the "plus" button in the Coding section of an exam.
3.1.164.0 - March 28, 2023 Release:
- Resolved an issue that prevented the "Include Trial Lens" filter from applying to the prescriptions list in Optical/Checkout tab.
- Resolved an issue that prevented the "Include Trial Lens" filter from applying when selected for "Import" from the RX Order menu.
- Resolved an issue that caused alert icons to appear erroneously in the Benefit and New Benefit menus. Such alert icons will no longer appear unless actively configured to do so by a user.
- Resolved an issue that caused a server error to appear when exporting RX Order Tracking data into excel spreadsheets. This error will no longer appear.
- Resolved an issue that prevented some exam sections from correctly updating when launched from the EHR > Worklist tab. Such exams will now update to display requisite patient information in each exam section.
- Resolved an issue that prevented OD and OS from appearing in prescriptions when viewed from Optical/Checkout tab. All relevant info will now correctly display.
3.1.163.0 - March 6, 2023 Release:
- Resolved an issue that prevented patient email addresses from populating in the Patient Demographic Report.
- Resolved an issue that prevented Insurance Payment hyperlinks on a posted invoice from opening the remittance record for that payment.
- Resolved an issue that prevented users from selecting "No Provider" on Retail Products and Other Fees. Such items can now be sold with "No Provider" selected.
- Resolved an issue that caused payments received from secondary insurance payers to mistakenly list the primary payer's name on remittance. Remittances and ledgers will now correctly display the secondary insurance payer's name when applicable.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing the "Create Patient Statement" button from generating statements and notifying users by direct message. Clicking "Create Patient Statement" will now generate a patient statements as PDF and will be available upon the user receiving an Uprise message notification.
- Patient names that include one or more hyphens will now properly display as hyphenated on invoice and patient statement printouts.
- In the coding section of an exam, CPT 17999 can now be used with extensions and is visible in treatment code mappings.
