Claims Improvements
- Secondary Insurances now appear under the "Create Secondary Claim" dropdown. Click here if you'd like to learn How to Create a Secondary Insurance Claim during Manual Posting
- You can now electronically submit a custom secondary insurance with any issue.
- A known error has been resolved that caused an entered Chargeback to duplicate on other line items during remittance posting. Interested in learning more about chargebacks, click here: How to Post Chargebacks from the Remittance Tracking Page
- The error message when posting EOB line item adjustments indicating "the adjustment is greater than the balance." This issue has also been resolved.
Invoice Improvements
- The "Payer" field on the "Add/Edit Professional Service" window now lists only "active" insurances for the patient.
- A validation warning now displays if you attempt to transfer responsibility with an amount that is not within the valid range. Click to learn How do I Transfer an Insurance Balance to a Patient?
NEW: Received Inventory Report
This report is used to generate an inventory audit. It displays inventory received, current inventory on hand and variance. You can print, export the report to Excel or export the raw data to Excel. Click to learn more about Running the Received Inventory Report
- Prism Values now display in all manifest refractions.
- Keratometry diopter and millimeter values now display in ##.## format; 2 decimal places for devices connected to Uprise
Admin
- The time round in 5 minute increments.
- We fixed an error that caused some customers to receive an unexpected error when selecting Setup options for Providers.
- We fixed an issue that caused some customers to receive an unexpected error when editing Observed Holidays.
EHR
- Previously active allergies now import as expected in the Allergies section of the Exam when the "Import" button is selected.

Invoices
- We resolved an issue that prevented a user from editing a draft invoice professional service line item. Users no longer receive the error message "... another user has already made changes to the record."

- When modifiers are edited on a posted invoice the update now shows on the invoice. Click this knowledge article to learn how to edit/add modifiers. How do I Edit an Invoice?
- Diagnoses can now be removed from a posted invoice when editing a service.
Patient Profile
- We fixed a bug that populated an erroneous phone number for scheduled patients who did not have phone number recorded in their patient profile. Need a refresher on where to update a patient's phone number? Check out How to Create a New Patient
- Editing "Insurance Name" is now reflected on the patient profile.
