January 2025 Release Notes
We are pleased to present Uprise release notes for January 2025.
3.1.183 - January 21, 2025 Release:
- We've improved the way that credits are displayed in both the Patient > Summary and Patient > Ledger screens by separating credit owed from any outstanding patient balance. Credit and patient balances now show independently both of these screens.
- "Supplier" is no longer indicated as a required field when creating a custom contact lens order:
- A new iteration of the Aging Report - Patient Balance and the Aging Report - Combined Balance is now available to Uprise users. CLICK HERE to learn more about the features of this report. If you would like to enable its use for your practice, please contact the Uprise Support team.

- Resolved a defect that prevented some users from manually splitting V-codes on an insurance claim.
- Resolved an defect that caused date of posted payments to be inaccurate. The date and time related to posted payment is now correctly reflecting the location's time zone setting.
- Resolved a defect that prevented some users from editing and saving diagnosis code modifiers on an open insurance claim.
- Resolved a defect that resulted in users' inability to fully refund a patient credit after part of a partial return has been corrected. The refund and available credit amounts are now reflected accurately.
- Resolved a defect that caused incorrect timestamps to appear on order dispensing statuses. Timestamps will now accurately reflect the practice location's time zone setting.
- Resolved a defect that resulted in an Unexpected error when attempting to add or edit notes on an eyeglass orders that had previously submitted to a supplier. Notes can now be added or edited on such order pages as necessary.
