How to Start an Rx Order From the Optical / Checkout Tab
The Optical / Checkout tab shows patients that are currently checked in; usually these are patients that have an appointment booked and that have seen the doctor before picking out a frame and getting new glasses. For walk-ins, remakes and renewals for contact lens renewals, go to the Patient tab.
1. Select the Patient > Select the Prescription type
2. The Prescription Order window opens. Select Insurance or Private Pay from the Insurance dropdown
3. Complete the Rx Order form with all the required details.
4. Post to Invoice or Save as a quote
