How to Create A Redo/Remake Order
This feature streamlines the Redo/Remake process and allows users to submit Redo Orders directly to the Lab.
Before creating a redo order, redo reasons can be set up in Admin > Setup > Redo Reasons
All existing redo reasons will be listed out with the type and charge adjustments. When a specific type of redo reason is selected, the adjustments will automatically reflect on the invoice so a write-off doesn't need to be created.
Select 'Add Selection' to create a redo reason
Users can determine the percent adjustments for either the lens, add on, or frame.
1. Locate the Order you would like to Redo
For this example, we will locate the order by going to the Patient > Summary > Prescription Orders
2. Select Redo Order
3. Fill out the Redo Information
If you select lab error as the redo type, it will prevent you from editing the order.
If an imported supplier has redo reasons they will appear in the drop down for the redo type selected. If a user selects a supplier defined reason, the supplier will get the reason for a redo within the electronic order.
Custom reasons will not get sent to the lab.
4. Once the Order has been updated, Post to Invoice
5. Post to Selected Invoice
Post to Selected Invoice is the only option available, this will post the redo to the original invoice
