Where to find Pre-Payment Buttons

1. There are four places a Pre-Payment can be made

1.  Clicking the "$" sign on the Home tab.

2.  Clicking the Pre-Pay button on the Summary tab on the Patient Record.

3.  Clicking Pre-Pay from the Patient Ledger.

  1. From the Appointment window after a patient is added.

2. After selecting Pre-Pay the Pre-Payment window opens

3. Enter the Pre-Pay dollar amount > Payment details > Click Save

You may need to refresh the screen to see the pre-payment to display.

4. Pre-payment is added to "Unapplied Payments"

Pre-payments cannot be edited.  They can be voided.  Once they are applied to an invoice, they are no longer considered a pre-payment and can be edited as an invoice payment.
