Reviewing and Importing Historical HPI

It's best practice to review the History of Chief Complaints before importing for two reasons 1: Only relevant information is imported 2: The HPI can be updated to today's current status.

Import only relevant items on file

  1. Click the History button (clock) 

Selecting the history button will import all active Chief Complaints.  Then select the chief complaint(s) that are relevant to this visit. 

  1. Select the row(s) to import (an update pop-up opens for each item selected)
  2. Update the current Status, Quality, Severity (if applicable)  
  3. Click Done
Import only relevant items on file

The historical information is now populated

Notes:

  • The first issue in the list is considered the Chief Complaint
  • Click the Set as Chief Complaint to update the list as needed.
