How to Add a New CPT/HCPCS/SNOMED Code
Linking a diagnosis to a procedure will prompt the user to add the diagnosis to the Assessment section if it doesn't already exist.
Deleting an ICD will also delete it from linked CPT codes in the coding section.
Linking an ICD to a CPT code will now display as a drop down to link an existing patient diagnosis.
1. In the coding section of the Exam, Click the "+"
Note: you could also edit an existing code that you do not need by double clicking on the code to open. Example, change a NEW patient visit to an ESTABLISHED patient visit.
2. Type in new CPT code under procedure and search
3. Add at least one diagnosis by clicking the drop down.
Linking an ICD to a CPT code will display as a drop down to link an existing patient diagnosis.
3.1. Select Diagnosis
4. Click Done
If you need to DELETE a code
5. Double click on the code you want to delete
6. Click the Trash Can button
