How to Setup Replacement Codes
This functionality allows you to set certain CPT codes to be replaced with other codes so that the appropriate billable codes are sent to the insurance company.
1. Admin > Setup > Insurances > Select the Insurance
2. Select Replacement Codes > Add New
3. Enter in a Description
This is a free text field
4. Enter the Starting Code
This is the code that will be replaced. The search box will populate with all Professional Services from the catalog.
You can have multiple starting codes and one final code or vice versa.
5. Enter the Final Code
6. To Remove a Replacement Code Rule, Select the X on the Right Hand Side
7. The Priority Numbers on the Left Side will Dictate Which Replacement Code Rules Will Happen First In Case of Overlap.
Select the down arrow to change the priority on a replacement code
