How to Edit a Post Cataract Operation Spec Lens Claim
Some insurances require that each lens (RT and LT) attribute show on its own charge line for a Post Cataract Spectacle Lens Order. These are the steps to accomplish this on a Claim by splitting each V-code line into a RT and LT.
1. Click Edit
2. Double-click in each field to edit. Start by double-clicking on the "2" under Units > Change to a "1"
3. Double-click on the field under Allocated to edit. Enter in 1/2 the allocation.
4. Click "Add" under Modifiers
5. Enter "RT" for Right Side > Click Save
6. Click Add Line
7. Add the V-code > Unit "1" > Modifier "LT" > Allocated $ will be 1/2 (same as Right)
8. The line item has now been split. Click Save
9. Continue editing all attributes for the lenses and split them for RT and LT.
