How to Restart the Uprise Device Listener App
If data is exported from your integrated optical device is not showing up under "Get Device Data" in the EHR, we recommend restarting the Device Listener Service
1. Right click the Windows Task Bar and select Task Manager
2. Click More Details at bottom (if Windows 10) otherwise go to next step
3. Click Services tab
4. Click Open Services at Bottom (Windows 10) / Click Services button (Windows 7)
5. In the Services List, scroll down to Device Listener, Right click and select Stop
6. Leave the Services tab open until you complete the remaining steps, you will need to Start this service again
Open File Explorer and find the Output Destination Folder that you set up to receive data from the device. An example follows below:
Double click My Computer
Double click C: drive
Double click Program Files (86)
Double click on your device Example Below: Marco Ophthalmic
Double click Output
Delete any files in this folder (IMPORTANT: DO NOT delete the Archive folder)
7. Go back to the Services Windows > Restart the DeviceListener Service that was stopped above
Right Click DeviceListener > Click Start
Try to send another file from device and if file disappears from Output folder (it automatically moves to the Archive folder) you should be able to see the data in Uprise.
