Getting Started

Devices are usually connected AFTER Go-Live and after a month or two using the system.

Configuration has three parts:

  1. Confirming the type of connection between the device and the PC Example: Serial COM1,COM2... (you can get this information from your device vendor)
  2. Installing and configuring device vendor connectivity software on your PC.  Example: Marco Connect software or Topcon I/O Module
  3. Installing and configuring Uprise Device Listener on your PC

 

1. Call your Customer Success Manager (CSM)

Let your CSM know you are ready to have your devices configured for Uprise EHR.

They will send you the Device Listener Installation Guide (or, click here Installing Visionweb-Uprise Device Listener)

 

2. Call Technical Support for your Device Vendor

Ask the following questions and have them help you install their software to capture the data from the device to a folder (for XML files) on your PC

  1. Can you tell me the port? (e.g. COM2 or USB2)
  2. Will you assist me in installing and configuring the connectivity software to create a folder on my PC to save XML files?
  3. Where are the XML data files saved on my computer?
