How to Create an Open Priced Product in the Catalog
This feature gives you the ability to designate products in the catalog as "Open Priced" so the fee can be set on an invoice. Ideal for custom contact lenses, or any product where the price may vary. Open pricing can be applied to all categories except Spectacle Lenses.
1. Click Admin > Catalogs > Category dropdown > select category
2. Enter criteria for the search > Click Search
3. Click on the product
4. In the Pricing section, Click the plus sign "+"
5. Update the Add/Edd Pricing details and change Pricing Model to "- Open Pricing -"
6. Click Save
7. Notice the Pricing Model and Fee are now set to Open Pricing. Click Save
7.1. On an Invoice an Open Priced item will display as a hyperlink "Set Fee".
Simply click the hyperlink to change the set price.
