Running Patient Statement Reports

This report allows you to print paper statements to collect outstanding balances from patients. A tear off section is available on the patient statement containing statement date, balance due, place holder for credit card/check number and signature to be mailed to the customer.

NOTE: The envelope you will use is a #9 double-window

1. From the Reports Tab select Patient Statement Report

2. Begin filling out the Patient Statement Report Parameters

From the drop down parameters select:

  • Location
  • Patient Statement Preference: Patient with Min. Balance or Selected Patient
  • Aging: All or 30 day ranges

Note: Time saving feature! Uprise will automatically remember whatever minimum balance you enter the next time you log in and run your statements.

3. Select Check Box Options for the Patient Statement and then Click Run

4. Summary List Displays > Use check box to select which Patient Statements to create

Note:  Use the Select All or Deselect All buttons to quickly check or uncheck the patient list

5. Click Create Statement

6. A message appears to inform you the statements are now generating

Generating the statements could take a few minutes. Click Close to continue working in Uprise. You will receive a message in your message center inbox when the statements are completed.

7. When it's convenient for you, open your message center

8. Look for the "Patient Statement Ready" message and click to download

9. The PDF will save to a default folder for downloads set by Chrome. Click to open the PDF

Note: It's recommended the folder for these Patient Statement PDF files be on a secure drive due to HIPAA.  The following link will provide instructions on how to change the download location in Chrome. Change Download Locations
