Running and Reading the Production Report
The new Production Report will allow users to see Fees, Adjustments, Payment, Cost and Balance Data from one report. It also lets the user analyze data by Transaction Post Date, Invoice Post Date, Date of Service, as well as Remit Payment date.
The new Production Report 'Total Payment' column calculated by: (Total Applied Payments (without tax) + Total Applied Credits (without tax) - voids - refunds)
The old Receipt Basis Report 'Net Total' column calculated by: (Total Applied Payments (without tax) + Total Applied Credits (without tax) - total payments on returned invoices)
2. Input your search criteria and location if necessary > Run
You can choose which date to filter by so that you can view data by when the patient was seen (date of service) or when the invoice was posted.
The Invoice Date will pull all transactions for invoices that were posted on the selected date.
If Date of Service is selected, the report will show all transactions that occurred for invoices with that date of service.
The Transaction Date will pull all transactions that were posted on the selected date.
If the Payment Date option is chosen, the report will pull the remit payment date.
3. The report will be broken down by Provider, Staff Member, Location, Revenue Stream and Product Category.
Gross Fee: total fees charged in this date range
Write-Off: total write-offs taken in this date range
Discount: total discounts given in this date range
Adjustment: total adjustments on invoices in this date range
