How to Audit Inventory

This feature allows users to scan frame products off of the board and compare the total number of items scanned to what is actually on hand within Uprise so that you can monitor counts and track inventory.

Before getting started, make sure the audit and reconcile inventory privilege is turned on in Admin.

4. Type in the SKU/UPC/FPC number or use a barcode scanner > Add to add products

If the SKU/UPC does not match anything in inventory, you will see a pop-up that reads, "no matches found"

If the SKU/UPC matches partially, you will see a pop-up that will say "multiple match" and you can select from that list

If you receive a message that says, "Audit contains # mismatches, please recount them and resubmit" that means the inventory for an item changed while the audit was in progress.

For example, when you start an audit at 9am the system thinks you have 10 product X's. You continue scanning and performing the audit over the next few hours and come up with 8 items. Sometime between the start and finish, another employee sells one of those products, so the system thinks there should be 9 items. When you finalize, this error pops up and says there is a mismatch because that inventory item changed while you were in progress and it's warning you to recheck the item.
