Removing Pending e-Prescribing Medications

Any medications that have been added to a patient in e-Prescribe but have not been added to a patient record are considered "Pending". This article explains how to remove these pending scripts.

1. Click E-Prescribing messaging to view messages

2. Pending Rx's will be at the top of the list. To remove or approve them go to the patient record

3. Find the patient in the EHR

4. Click "Allergies/Meds" tab

5. Click E-Prescribing button

6. Take action on the Rx: Delete or move to current medications
